quick note as it is late and i have 5 hours before i have to be up- had joined facebook way back while living in england as a possible way of staying in touch with friends, but never got it off the ground and used the blog instead. but a few friends finally found me now that i have moved back- another interesting internet tool. curious to see how it develops-
ran 5 miles yesterday and 7 today though neither run was of any quality. finding out that i just don't recover from races like i used to and i will need to really find out for myself what i am going to have to do to get the proper rest. sleep is not one of my friends these days. still it was nice to be out on the trail and today we
saw a pair of nesting bald eagles. watching them fly around was nice and we soon had a small crowd wondering what we were looking at.
fun day with a little golf practice, some gardening, cleaning out the shed and attic and dinner with daughter beth. all in all an ok day-
back tomorrow- still lots to do but nice to have the entire house back working again-
