it is now tomorrow and i have been up doing my little computer work. plumber showed up at 4:35 pm and said it was more broken than he had parts for and he would try to come back tomorrow given the urgency of the situation. i love this country.

went to the driving range today. was pretty cold and plenty windy. hit another 150 balls still trying to find a swing and didn't; never have hit so high but had the hook thing going today. even though i am not hitting well, i am learning things about the golf swing in general and my swing in particular. will keep going. the good ones make me realize the swing changes can ultimately make me better and i just have to keep working it. also i need to get more flexible. can i still do this is a good question? should have started a long time ago when i was younger.

but i am smarter now and i can do things with my swing i couldn't do last year even if i cannot hit it as straight as often yet. my woods were just horrible today and i was glad i was not playing with that swing.

all good. still determined. sent an email to j today and that always motivates me. she is like having my own dr bob rotella even when she is not talking back.

so no more whining- i will say that after playing links style golf, woodlands golf is just not the same. will go home for a visit and then come back and find a way to play some more links-

will check the primaries and then hit it; last i saw hillary had won rhode island. she needs ohio at least and then penna if she loses texas. someone has to beat
mc cain. when you live abroad you get a much different picture of how the world views america. i don't need that to know mc cain is not the answer for sure and i am tired of being asked how can the usa be so dumb as to elect gwbush twice?

what can i say? we live in a democracy that doesn't promise we won't be stupid sometimes.
