really busy day getting ready to go back to the states for a visit and appts of all kinds. gail and i ran about 4 miles in the morning along the river and that was all i had time for. had to get to the market and then do various chores and i still wanted to hit some balls at the range. should have skipped that as it was much worse than yesterday. no hooks today. balls weren't hit well enough to hook. some good blocks though. will worry about golf some other time. oh well.
lots of chores in the afternoon and working on the house stuff. gail's friend ginger will be here while i am gone and there is always much moving around of stuff to make room for another person. love company, but living in what is basically an indoor tent requires some planning to add another person.
plumber didn't show of course, but i managed to get some draino type stuff and fix the sink. the rest is up to a pro- the jerry rigging is still working. oh well again.
no word on the cat yet either. the vet is in a bit of a tizzy about the owner not calling and i am sure that the timing is the problem there as they are flying from belgium to indianna and even though they should be there by now, not sure they have their email up and running first thing. still, the cat will need medicine soon or not. at some point we will just do something probably. third oh well.
packing is always fun and sheer guesswork this time. so it doesn't really matter i guess and it will be ok one way or another. i need to care more about unimportant things.
was a pretty day- clear and cold and windy- the weather here is a broken record i know. no rain though the the weather people are calling for three days of rain over the three day weekend.
